No this is not a thread about Spitfires and Me109's in dogfights. I am gearing up for the Champions League double header between Manchester Utd, the greatest team in the world with the greatest player in the world, and Glasgow Celtic, the Champions of Scotland.

This mouthwatering tie will be of great interest to a lot of "Blues" men as I believe we have members who follow one or other, or both, clubs.

Who will come out on top, who do YOU want to win, Will Celtic gain the support of all who follow the Scottish game Question

Feel free to post an opinion...................

I invisage a hard fought win for the mancs at old trafford and 1-1 draw at parkhead. Yeah Celtic badly need to win, it was the same old story for them last nite away from home in Europe.
As for the other teams in the competition, i think the scousers will be hard to stop, Rafa's the man to lead us to the promised land. The EPL teams will likely fair best again in the CL. All english final could be on the cards once more but its early days. Laughing

Definetely not Laughing altho it would be better than getting beat by them compared to United or Chelsea Laughing

The premiership seems to be taking over for us this season so far anyway, maybe Rafa thinks hes finally got a team/squad that can be up there with the other big 3 hence more focus on the lgue matches Very Happy

Support Liverpool ciaran lad, its way more fun. Ups and downs like but sure it's all worth it when we win something major and bring the good times back to the red half of merseyside.

Those were the days my friends
We took the Stretford End
We took the Shed
The North Bank Highbury

We took the Geordies too
We fought for Liverpool
We are the Kop
Of Liverpool FC

hate to say it my old mouser friend, but Keane should not have tried to be so smart in front of goal. You should have wrapped that one up before half time. Rolling Eyes

Yet again the linesmen had a shocker tonight Shocked

Gotta say bad decisions V Man United (as usual, the referees and linesmen get intimidated by the mancy scum) and people keep nagging on about Celtics poor away form, ever thought of the quality of teams our wee club comes against in the Champions League group stages, AC, Barca and we seemed to be getting the hand of getting out of the group stages (EXCEPT THIS TIME hate-cry ). Keep in mind we have turned Utd and The Pool over so we arent having a Premier League Laugh. Utd can and do beat most of the premier league teams at home, so why make out Celtic have done any worse than anyone else. The 'tic werent at their best and the bad injuries didnt help us but come the return leg in Paradise the reds will get their fill of it. Regardless of how the reds, the pool, Chelseas blues or my beloved 'tic do in the champions league the Arsenal are the team to beat.(and it ll be a cold day in hell before the YIDS have to worry about it)
Ps I used to hate the Pool more than UTD, isnt it funny how some things just change in 90mins.
Ronaldo really is a greasy bum hate-ass
hate-guns hate-devil
oh aye and heres 1 for the commentators hate-boid
