Lads just to let you know myself and Mick are chuffed to pieces. Not only because we won the league but to be a part of such a good bunch of lads. We have always said your the best cubs in the country. A tough game yesterday but we came through deserved winners. When we are in that form with our tails up we are hard to beat. Should of won by more but mission accomplished. Hats of to Stuarty for some brave goalkeeping. The defence were strong with Luke, Aaron, Gribbo and Odhran standing strong, the wingers Daniel and Michael ran themselves hard. The subs came on at halftime,Conan and Pat Joe and created some great chances. Conlaithe Mc Elhone also had an impact on the game. as usual Shea Murphy and Ronan Young gave the Bright Stars defence problems the whole match. Whilst Connor Mc Groggan and Ryan McElwee didnt get on they have been a major part of the squad in recent weeks. Our two midfilders Jake Taylor and Kieran Lynch dictated the game and bossed the Bright Stars team throughout. After missing a penalty Jake stepped up to the spot for a 2nd time and thankfully made no mistake. But that is the character throughout the team that defeat was not an option. Well done again lads and as I promised a major KFC night if we win the League Cup. Keep your eyes on the website for training this week as it may well be moved to the convent on Tuesday 6 30 again.
