The future is bright the future is Sky Blue!

Magherafelt Sky Blues future continues to look bright with the excellent Mini-Soccer Centre, sponsored by Ronan Valley Golf Course, going from strength to strength. Currently in its second season the Mini-Soccer Centre continues to attract large numbers each week, highlighting how successful it has become. Upwards of 100 children converge at Spires Park each Saturday morning to take the opportunity to learn the basics of the game and have plenty of fun.

Since the club developed Spires Park the interest in football within the town has gone to an all time high and has given the club the confidence to grow and provide opportunities for all age groups.

Like all successful clubs the Magherafelt side are developing the club in all areas with the introduction of youth football one of the most important. Since the introduction of the mini-soccer centre the club has been able to create a new under 13 team. On the back of this under 13 side a new under 15 team will begin this August to meet the current demands the club are experiencing for youth football.

Magherafelt Sky Blues Mini-Soccer Centre takes place every Saturday from 10am to 11am at Spires Park. Both boys and girls from P4 to P7 are welcome to come along and register on the day. For further details contact 07870 578593 after 6pm or visit
