On Saturday we had a comfortable win against Coagh in the semi final of the league cup. The players took the game in control early on and Ruari Mc Elwee and Shea Murphy notched up 3 goals between them in the first 10 mins. Kieran Lynch got a couple of well taken goals that came from good wing play from Michael Lynch and Aaron Cassidy. Ryan Mc Elwee scored after coming on as a sub as did Conan Mc Aleese. Our midfield duo of Jake Taylor and Kieran Lynch played strongly throughout the game, dictating the play and hitting some tidy tackles. Daniel Wright was as usual a thorn in Coaghs right side,( I think that no.2 really was trying to dismantle your upper and lower body lad

). Jake Taylor scored a nice goal near the end of the game.
I have to say I was dissapointed with our lack of sportsmanship near the end of the game by 2 or 3 of our players. How you conduct yourselves as players tells the character of a team, but I dont want to take the shine of this win, the lads involved have already had a strong word in their ears and understand their actions.
Well done again boys.
Cmon the wee blues
